Delete Your Data
Last updated: July 28, 2026
You can ask us to delete the data ToonPlay holds about you at any time, whether you signed in with Google or Facebook or only ever used ToonPlay anonymously. This page explains how, and what happens next.
If you signed in with Facebook or Google
Email contact@toonplay.fun from the email address on your ToonPlay account, with the subject "Delete my ToonPlay data". Tell us which provider you signed in with (Facebook or Google) so we can find the account.
We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm ownership of the account before we delete anything — this protects you from someone else deleting your account.
What gets deleted
- Your account record, including the name, email address and profile picture received from Facebook or Google.
- The link between your account and the sign-in provider, so signing in again creates a completely new account.
- Your likes, viewing history and watch activity.
- The device records and session tokens associated with your account.
- Your push notification token, so we can no longer send you notifications.
What we cannot delete for you
Some data is held by third parties under their own controls, and some we are required to keep. We will tell you if any of this applies to your request.
- Analytics and advertising data held by Google and Microsoft. It is not linked to your name or email address, and it expires under those providers' own retention settings. See our Privacy Policy for how to opt out of it.
- Your Facebook or Google account itself. Deleting your ToonPlay data does not touch it. To remove ToonPlay's access from the provider's side, remove the ToonPlay app in your Facebook or Google account settings.
- Aggregated records that no longer identify you, such as total view counts on a video.
- Backups, which are overwritten on their normal cycle rather than edited. Deleted data stops being used immediately and disappears from backups as they age out.
If you never signed in
Browsing ToonPlay without signing in creates only an anonymous device record, identified by a random identifier stored on your device and not connected to your name or email address. You can clear it yourself:
- On the website: clear cookies and site data for toonplay.fun in your browser settings.
- In the mobile app: uninstall the app, or clear its storage in your device settings.
This resets your device profile immediately. If you would also like the server-side record removed, email us at contact@toonplay.fun.
